Aerius tablets contain Desloratadine 5 mg which is used in the treatment of allergy symptoms. It is an antihistamine medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.How to use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aerius 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Precautions Aerius 5 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol. Aerius may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
